DESCRIPTION
Thanks to improvements in computing power and scientific theory, Generative AI is more accessible than ever before. Generative AI will play a significant role across industries and will gain significant importance due to its numerous applications such as Creative Content Generation, Data Augmentation, Simulation and Planning, Anomaly Detection, Drug Discovery, and Personalized Recommendations etc. In this course we will take a deeper dive on denoising diffusion models, which are a popular choice for text-to-image pipelines, disrupting several industries.

LECTURER
Dr. Gergo Bogacsovics
Dr. Gergo Bogacsovics is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science, as well as his PhD from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He has 5+ years of teaching experience in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine- and deep learning, as well as reinforcement learning and natural language processing. He is also a certified NVIDIA DLI instructor and ambassador. His main research areas include developing novel machine- and deep learning-based solutions in the clinical domain. He also has substantial industry experience in the Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Engineering fields, and has worked in diverse cultural environments, both with European and non-European partners. He currently works as a Senior Data Engineer at a multinational company.
