DESCRIPTION (to be updated)
Modern language technologies, including large language models like ChatGPT, Claude or LLAMA, are of great interest to both researchers and industrial innovators. This tutorial will explain the basic concepts and building blocks behind these technologies and how they can be used in more complex scenarios like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). We will also go through several practical examples showing useful tools and libraries.
Course type: Tutorial
LECTURER
Martin Tamajka
Martin Tamajka is a researcher and lead research engineer at the KInIT. He focuses on the research of new methods of deep learning, which includes, among other things, current models of natural language processing and increasing the transparency of neural networks through explainability methods and image data analysis. He participated in and led several industrial collaborations and research projects, aimed, among other things, at creating a pan-European platform for AI researchers, analysing historical cultural heritage with the help of artificial intelligence, or increasing the transparency of artificial intelligence models in the context of the fight against disinformation.
