The Icarus research group is a group consisting of aspiring undergraduate and postgraduate students with interests in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems. The group is in close collaboration with the Computer Vision and Machine Learning (AIIA.CVML) of the Artificial Intelligence and Information Analysis laboratory.

The Icarus’ group contribution includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drone hardware support and development.
  • Drone software development.
  • Research in Computer Vision and Machine Learning (e.g. Object Detection/Tracking, Fast Convolution Algorithms, Generative Adversarial Networks and more)
